Mycoplasma PCR detection kit

The Chinese Pharmacopoeia<3301 mycoplasma="" detection="" method="">uses culture and indicator culture methods, which can effectively detect live Mycoplasma in biological products or cells, but the detection timeliness is poor. Compared to the cultivation method and indicator cultivation method specified in the pharmacopoeia, the European Pharmacopoeia<2.6.7>states that Mycoplasma can be detected by amplifying nucleic acids extracted from test samples using specific primers. After appropriate validation, the nucleic acid amplification technique NAT can replace the cultivation method and indicator cell culture method. 

The Mycoplasma detection kit independently developed by BioDomi GmbH uses polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technology to amplify and detect specific fragments of conserved regions of Mycoplasma 16S and 23S rRNA. This method can obtain results within two hours, which not only saves time but also improves sensitivity and accuracy compared to traditional cultivation methods.
