Vero Residual DNA Fragment (qPCR) Detection Kit

Vero cell line is a commonly used immortalized cell line in the production of viral vaccines. The residual DNA of host cells can be infectious, immunogenic, or carcinogenic. The maximum tolerable amount of residual DNA is 10ng/dose, while the requirement for DNA fragment size is less than the length of one functional gene. The minimum length of one functional gene is 200bp. Fragments larger than 200bp have higher potential risks. Testing the distribution of residual DNA fragments in finished products is necessary for vaccine manufacturers.

The Vero residual DNA fragment (qPCR) detection kit independently developed by BioDomi GmbH can be used to quantitatively detect the size distribution of Vero host cell DNA residual fragments in intermediate, semi-finished, and finished products of various biological products. Four different amplification fragments (86bp, 154bp, 242bp, 540bp) were designed using the principle of PCR fluorescence probe method to quickly and specifically detect the distribution of DNA fragments. This kit can be used in conjunction with our company's host residual DNA sample pretreatment kit.
